About Harmonic Security

Harmonic Security lets teams adopt AI tools safely by protecting sensitive data in real time with minimal effort. It gives enterprises full control and stops leaks so that their teams can innovate confidently.

We are led by cybersecurity experts and backed by top investors including Next47, Ten Eleven Ventures, and In-Q-Tel.

We’ve gained early traction and product-market fit with a world-class team, and we’re now focused on building a category-defining company. This is your opportunity to join us early and play a pivotal role in shaping our narrative, driving go-to-market strategy, and influencing the trajectory of our product.

About the Role

We’re looking for our first Product Marketing Manager / Lead (PMM) –  a strategic storyteller and market shaper who can bridge product, sales, and marketing to accelerate growth. This is a foundational role where you’ll own our positioning, messaging, and launch strategy across core product lines.

You’ll work closely with leadership, product, engineering, and sales to define how Harmonic shows up in the market with a voice that’s clear, compelling, and uniquely ours. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and it’s ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Positioning & Messaging: Define and evolve Harmonic’s product positioning and narrative to differentiate us in the cybersecurity and AI governance space.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead product launches end-to-end, partnering with product, sales, and demand marketing to ensure field readiness and impact.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with content and demand gen teams on thought leadership, customer stories, and use-case driven campaigns.
  • Customer Advocacy: Partner with Customer Success to surface proof points, case studies, and testimonials.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously analyze competitors, market trends, and customer insights to inform positioning, create sales battlecards, and roadmap decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the connective tissue between product and go-to-market teams, ensuring strategic alignment and clear communication.

What Success Looks Like

  • Our GTM teams have clear, compelling narratives that consistently resonate with buyers.
  • Harmonic is positioned as the category leader in AI security and governance.
  • Sales cycles shorten and win rates improve through better enablement and messaging.
  • Product launches land with measurable business impact / ROI, from pipeline generation to market awareness.
  • Customers, prospects, and analysts can articulate Harmonic’s unique value prop in their own words and understand how we differ from legacy vendors.

Requirements

What you Bring

  • 6–10 years of product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS with security, AI / ML, or data products.
  • Proven track record of launching products and driving measurable GTM impact.
  • Experience creating positioning, messaging frameworks, and competitive analysis.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling, customer-focused narratives.
  • Comfort in startup or high-growth environments; thrives with ambiguity and autonomy.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functionally without formal authority.
  • Strong business acumen, customer empathy, and a bias for action.

You Might Be a Fit if You…

  • Love owning the story from market insight → messaging → launch → revenue impact.
  • Can zoom out to see the big picture, but also write the one-pager, build the deck, and brief the sales team yourself.
  • Are comfortable building systems and processes from scratch.
  • Thrive at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing.
  • Are energized by being a founding member of a lean, high-performing team.

Why Join Us

  • A small, passionate team that values transparency, creativity, and learning.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
