We are seeking a skillful and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to craft compelling messaging and content that resonates effectively with our target audience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, corporate communications, demand, and customer marketing to create materials that competitively position BlueCat’s growing portfolio of solutions. The position is based in North America, subject to the terms of our hybrid work policy.

We need your help in these critical areas:

Messaging and Content Development
• Craft compelling product messaging and narratives that highlight BlueCat’s value proposition, competitive advantage, and address customer challenges.
• Develop a variety of customer-facing marketing materials, including presentations, datasheets, case studies, ebooks, video scripts, solution briefs, and white papers.
• Partner with demand marketing teams to deliver key assets aligned with the buyer’s journey.

Market and Competitive Analysis
• Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, to derive actionable insights.
• Analyze market segmentation and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
• Create and maintain sales tools that effectively position BlueCat vs. competitors (e.g., battlecards)

Sales Enablement
• Support the sales team by providing training on the messaging you create to enable effective & consistent communication of BlueCat value to customers.
• Maintain a library of product marketing assets, appropriately meta-tagged for easy access and searchability, while archiving or updating outdated content.

Customer Insights and Feedback
• Gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and market analysis to inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer internally and ensure alignment with customer needs.

Professional Qualifications
• 5+ years in product marketing roles for enterprise software companies within the networking / IT industry.
• Experience operating within a global organization, working across time zones and cultures.
• Experience developing collaborative relationships across departments.
• Provide writing samples that demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate complex, technical concepts.
• Technical Aptitude: familiarity with networking, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies (specific experience with Network Observability, Network Monitoring, NetFlow and Packet data, is advantageous)
• General knowledge of leading vendors in the Network Observability market (strengths, vulnerabilities, competitive positioning).
• Familiarity with key marketing operations platforms (Monday.com, Gong, Highspot, Slack, Confluence, as well as MS Office Suite).
