If you think you would be the right person to join our team working towards this goal, we would love to hear from you!
Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Operations Manager to join our team as an individual contributor. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining our product operations processes, ensuring alignment between product management and cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence to enhance product management methodologies, processes, product delivery and performance.
What You Will Accomplish:
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing product management and operations processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and/or implement product management methodologies and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity and reduce time-to-market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between product management, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on product initiatives. Facilitate Product Management updates to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to product operations. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for process enhancements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of product processes, workflows, and best practices. Prepare regular reports on operational performance and project status for stakeholders.
- Initiative Management: Leverage tools like Aha! and other planning platforms to facilitate comprehensive documentation of roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans. Assist with the organization, tracking progress, and generating reports to provide clear visibility and accountability, enabling Product Managers to focus on delivering value while maintaining alignment across initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Gather feedback and insights to understand their needs and integrate them into product operations strategies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in product operations and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on product delivery and performance.
What We Are Looking For:
- We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”. It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field;
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, project management, or a related role;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams;
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Aha, JIRA, Asana, Trello);
- Knowledge of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum);
- Experience with a product telemetry / usage tool like Gainsight or Pendo;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience leveraging AI to enhance product management;
- Strong Excel skills and experience with analytical tools like Power BI;
- Salesforce reporting and dashboards experience; knowledge of CPQ.
The Most Important Thing:
- We’re looking for candidates that can provide examples of how they have demonstrated Magnet CODE in their previous experiences:
