As a Product Owner, you will guide Agile teams, collaborate with Product Managers, oversee project development, maintain the backlog, and ensure successful product launches.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner, in a growing company with a global footprint.
What you’ll do:
As a member of the Product team, you will be working closely with the Product Managers to understand the solution design, the R&D team, guiding them through the development phase and with the project managers to meet plans and milestones.
Product Owner responsibilities include:
- Providing directions to the Agile development team throughout the project
- Working in close collaboration with the Product Manager to align on product vision and long-term evolution
- Addressing challenges encountered in the R&D process
- Iteration Planning and maintaining the team backlog
- Take part in the product launch, training and documentation
What you should have
- 3+ years of experience as product owner in the area of Web Applications or Big Data
- A deep understanding of the Agile methodology and concepts
- Experience in preparing Requirements & Design documentation
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a changing agile environment
- A B.Sc. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent relevant technology-related field; MBA is a plus
- Proficiency in English
- Great communication skills
- Experience working with remote teams in different time zones
Technical background and Technologies you should be knowledgeable in:
- Web technologies (Client-side, Server-side, Databases, Cloud Services) – must
- Front-end / backend development concepts - must
- UX/UI knowledge
- Experience with Project Management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello, Monday)
- Experience with design tools (Visio, Flow-charts) - advantage
