Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to define product vision and roadmaps for complex, mission-critical government applications. 

If you have 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams, a strong understanding of backlog management, and a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and technical leadership in the DoD, Intel, or Space application domain, you might be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges. 

We are a small company dispersed across the United States. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive. 

Due to the nature of our work, this person needs to be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

About You

  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner role, working in a rapid-paced, client-facing organization.
  • You have advanced experience working with Agile processes and tools such as Jira, and strong facilitation skills.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have Product Owner Certification (e.g., A-CSPO, CSP-PO, PSPO II or III).
  • You are a US Citizen who lives in the USA (due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies this is a firm requirement).

Bonus Points

  • Existing security clearance with the DoD.
  • Experience working in DoD, Intel or Space applications.

Compensation
