Position Overview
The Product Solutionist is a hybrid role combining technical expertise and sales acumen to drive revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the adoption of Cast & Crew’s digital solutions. This role acts as both a subject-matter expert and a sales ambassador, bridging the gap between customer needs and product capabilities while actively engaging in lead generation, client acquisition, and supporting account management.
The Product Solutionist collaborates closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product, Implementation, and Client Relationship Managers, to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service to clients in the entertainment, live events, and venue industries.
The Product Solutionist plays a crucial role in driving business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the successful adoption of Cast & Crew’s products. This role combines technical expertise and sales strategy to deliver exceptional value to clients and establish Cast & Crew as a trusted partner in the entertainment and live events industries.

Core Responsibilities

Product Expertise

  • Serve as the go-to product expert for Cast & Crew’s digital solutions and services, with a focus on employer-of-record products supporting but not limited to: accounting, professional services, and payroll models and digital onboarding solutions for domain expertise.
  • Stay updated on new product features, presenting them to clients as value-adding opportunities.
  • Customer-Obsessed Solutions:
  • Assess client needs and design tailored solutions that align with their operational goals.
  • Conduct detailed product discovery and demonstrations, showcasing the functionality and value of Cast & Crew’s offerings.

Sales Enablement:

  • Partner with the Sales team to provide technical support during the sales cycle.
  • Equip the team with data, insights, and solutions that enhance their ability to position products effectively.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Work with CRM and Product teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and customer enablement.
  • Aggregate feedback for Product teams to inform feature enhancements based on customer needs.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

  • Actively solicit leads through calls, emails, and industry research to grow the Film & Television vertical of clients.
  • Receive inbound leads, initiate connections, and qualify opportunities for potential revenue growth.
  • Research latest products and trends to maintain a competitive edge, with focus on new business and retention.

Account Development:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Identify customer needs and offer strategic recommendations to address challenges and achieve their objectives.

Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Plan and execute lead generation strategies to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, customer activity, and market trends.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
  • Stay informed on market conditions, competitive activities, and emerging trends in the entertainment and SaaS industries.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to identify differentiators and opportunities for growth.

Customer Engagement & Retention:

  • Maintain open and consistent communication with prospects and clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support customer onboarding, provide guidance on product adoption, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaboration & Events:
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate sales efforts, align on customer strategies, and deliver exceptional client experiences and engagements.
  • Represent Cast & Crew at industry events, building brand recognition and fostering relationships.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, implementation, account management, technical product support, or a related customer-facing role.
  • SaaS product background is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with employer-of-record payroll services, digital accounting solutions, and/or entertainment industry operations is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex product features in simple, impactful ways.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a talent for building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
  • Strong understanding of entertainment industry, particularly production finance.
  • Experience with CRM tools, sales platforms, and data analysis software.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving product adoption.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the entertainment, film & television, or SaaS industries is a plus.
  • Track record of delivering technical product demonstrations and managing customer relationships.

Special Work Conditions    

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
