About the Role:

We are looking for a Product & Test Engineer to join our legendary team. As a Robotics & AI Product & Test Engineer, you will drive Nimble’s robotics products forward. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and data to define product and implementation requirements, develop and test features, and deliver innovative, scalable solutions with the goal of creating the next-gen fully autonomous robotic warehouse to take on Amazon.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to complete pre and post deployment evaluation to ideate impactful features and quantify the KPI impact of recently launched features.
  • Technology Assessment & Requirements Gathering: Work with internal stakeholders to gather and evaluate technical, operational and integration requirements
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment and validation of KPIs
  • Performance Tracking: Be a subject matter expert on a core company KPI - build, monitor, and report weekly to the CEO against key performance indicators
  • Technical Translation: Guide the development and implementation teams by translating business and product requirements into tangible documentation and deliverables
  • System Configuration & Testing: Configure software systems, design and organize comprehensive test plans, and conduct system testing to ensure products are functioning properly
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including integration workflows, internal and external specifications, product documentation, test plans, and release documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on algorithmic optimization and control systems
  • Significant experience with optimization techniques relevant to multi-robot systems, such as path planning, task allocation and scheduling, and resource optimization
  • 5+ years of professional experience optimizing complex, automated systems, with a preference for experience in robotic order fulfillment or warehouse automation
  • Proven experience in designing and integrating complex software systems
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and technical teams
  • Highly organized
  • Team player, customer-focused mindset
  • Fast learner, A-player, great work ethic, and high ambitions
  • Critical thinking about how and why software systems fail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience with data analytics using SQL and visualization software such as Tableau, Sigma, etc.
  • Experience developing AI / ML products
  • Experience using Linux and Git

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
