Job DescriptionThe Production Engineer Intern will work directly under the supervision of the Production Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with design engineering on new product launches.
- Work with maintenance on day-to-day equipment support.
- Work with Production Engineer when equipment is down to troubleshoot and return to production.
- Work with quality to identify/reduce/eliminate defect root causes.
- Work with production engineering to reverse engineer and model production spare parts.
- Work with production supervisors to update and/or create product assembly work instructions
- Work with production engineer on new equipment installation/debug (if applicable).
Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and processes.
- Self-directed and organized with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to interact with team members and customers professionally.
