Are you our next great Landscape Maintenance Production Specialist?

The Production Specialist will support 2 to 5 maintenance crews (6-15 people) and their sites to meet or exceed the contract maintenance expectations. The role will also include small site upgrades and irrigation related activities to be performed independently or with the maintenance teams to ensure 12-48-hour turnaround time on all small client requests or site needs.

This position is located in Hayward, CA

Responsibilities of a Landscape Maintenance Production Specialist will include, but not limited to:

  • With account manager, establish daily crew priorities and ensure execution
  • Support foremen, execute priorities and develop optimal production methods, sequencing and development of other team members.
  • Support sites with seasonal irrigation controller adjustments, identify irrigation problems and correct, report and/ or repair.
  • Lead the execution of small upgrades.
  • Support non-routine field events including but not limited to field equipment repairs, transportation of crews, accident or incident response, after hour irrigation call outs, storm response

Are you the right fit for this role?

*Skills & experience that are necessary as a Production Specialist will include, but not limited to:

  • California Driver’s License
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (read, write and speak)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Level
  • 3-5 years industry field experience with at least 2 years as a maintenance foreman or AA degree in horticulture or crop production
  • Basic commuter skills – email, excel, digital photo documentation
  • Basic planning, organizing and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to see, hear and speak clearly in order to communicate with supervisors, crew members, and, occasionally, customers. This is a physically demanding role requiring the incumbent to be able to:
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  • Reach over head
  • Work in various positions including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete job tasks
  • Lift 50 pounds of weight frequently though-out the workday

Pay Range:

  • $22 - $25 per hour
