Summary

Curana Health is building a federated AI transformation capability, and this role provides the program management behind it. You will coordinate work across two active programs: an AI SWAT team that partners with business functions to redesign workflows using AI and develop builder/operators through the Operations and Automation Guild, and an organization-wide learning initiative that is rolling out AI training and developing an assessment program. This role also supports the development of Talent Acquisition processes that help evaluate AI competency, ensuring that how Curana Health hires reflects how the organization works.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

AI SWAT & Operations and Automation Guild

  • Run the operating rhythm for the AI build portfolio, including intake, staging, dependencies, launch sequencing, and weekly capacity tracking.

  • Own communications and follow-through with Guild builder/operators who are at different stages of learning to build.

  • Drive a 90-day delivery gate against prioritized workflow builds and maintain reliable tracking that clearly communicates delivery status and outcomes.

  • Build and maintain program controls where none exist today, including consolidated status tracking, dependency mapping, and ROI documentation.

  • Convert meetings into decisions and owned actions by managing agendas, decision logs, and follow-up with accountable owners.

  • Coordinate tool readiness, system access, attestations, and approved storage checks, escalating compliance concerns before they become blockers.

AI Enablement

  • Manage item development, review cycles, platform readiness, and completion reporting.

  • Align scope, priorities, and handoffs across IT, Security, the health plan and medical group, Clinical Leadership, and Learning & Development so concurrent programs remain coordinated.

  • Maintain the AI enablement roadmap, including milestones, dependencies, and the critical path across concurrent programs.

  • Coordinate vendors, tools, and resources that support training and assessment delivery.

  • Produce leadership-ready program reporting that clearly communicates progress, risks, decisions, and metrics.

AI Talent Acquisition Assessments

  • Project-manage the design of an AI competency screening framework in partnership with Talent Acquisition.

  • Pilot the process in active hiring cycles and support expansion across functions.

  • Create documentation and templates that make the approach repeatable and sustainable.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience managing concurrent programs end to end across cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.

  • Experience building program infrastructure from scratch or standing up a meaningful component, such as a tracker, status cadence, reporting layer, dependency map, or program control.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive follow-through with stakeholders who do not report to you.

  • Daily, hands-on use of AI tools for drafting, organizing, and analysis, such as Claude and Copilot.

  • Ability to evaluate whether a tool or workflow meets security requirements before recommending it.

  • Working familiarity with healthcare data security requirements, including the ability to distinguish approved from convenient storage, escalate access and attestation concerns, and treat data handling as a firm constraint.

  • Clear, audience-calibrated written communication and the ability to create concise, executive-ready updates, dashboards, slide decks, and status reports.

  • Proactive judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify risks early, manage tradeoffs, communicate capacity, and move work forward with limited direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, technology, startups, transformation initiatives, or another environment centered on cross-functional delivery.

  • Change management, enablement, or Learning & Development experience.

  • Agile experience or a PMP or Agile certification.

  • Experience with learning management systems or tools such as Monday.com

  • Healthcare, HIPAA, security, or compliance awareness.

What Success Looks Like:

You bring structure to emerging programs, create a dependable view of priorities and capacity, surface risks before they become blockers, and keep cross-functional work moving. Your reporting is concise and decision-ready, your follow-through is consistent, and the processes you build can be repeated without depending on one person to run them.
