For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Program Manager. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Program Manager (PM). Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager (PM) with the perfect blend of leadership, management, and creative problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Experience required in managing multi-million-dollar contracts with multiple teammates with proven skills in creating management infrastructures to assist in executing large-scale contracts like IDIQs or BPAs. This role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects from inception to completion.

  • Create and manage an agile Program Management backlog.

  • Create templates, best practices, how-to’s and additional guidance to ensure delivery excellence across multiple teammates and call orders.
  • Review, understand and analyze requirements for a diverse range of missions and tasks including cloud, IT  modernization, telecommunication and networking.
  • Serve as the Point of Contact (PoC) for Government leadership.
  • Organize and lead kick-off meetings, status reporting, and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs).
  • Track and report BPA metrics (cost, schedule, scope).
  • Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across multiple call orders all with unique period of performances.
  • Manage communication constructs across stakeholders.
  • Lead and guide technical staff, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor progress to ensure compliance with deadlines, standards, and cost targets.
  • Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes impacting short-term project growth and success.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of project/program management experience, preferably within DoD environments.
  • Certifications: PMP required; Agile Scrum certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and lead technical teams.
  • Proven ability to create management infrastructure and products to guide large-scale government contracts.
  • Strong skills in agile project management with government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of cost, schedule, and scope management principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Active/Current Top Secret clearance
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with BPA management.

  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and deliver under tight deadlines

  • Timecard Approval: Ensuring accurate and timely approval of timecards.

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $137,000-$207,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
