Stryker’s Neurovascular division is looking for a strategic Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional business process and systems transformation projects within our Business Excellence PMO team. This individual will drive operational excellence by optimizing business workflows through Lean methodologies and end-to-end program leadership.
This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, influence across functions without direct authority, and has a passion for process improvement in a highly regulated industry.
What you will do:
Program Management
  • Lead and manage large, strategically critical programs and business transformation projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, schedules, and program documentation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across departments including Clinical, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and more.
Process Improvement & Lean Leadership
  • Own and drive Lean transformation initiatives using tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and root cause analysis.
  • Identify bottlenecks in current-state processes and build measurable, actionable future-state roadmaps.
  • Serve as a change leader, embedding continuous improvement practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Act as a key liaison for executive stakeholders and functional leaders across the business.
  • Develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans to ensure transparency, alignment, and accountability.
  • Mentor team members, influence decision-making, and drive consensus without direct reporting lines.
Business Planning & Risk Management
  • Collaborate on budget forecasting, resource planning, and procurement strategy when needed (note: projects may not have defined budgets).
  • Develop and monitor quality, risk, and procurement plans aligned with program objectives.
  • Navigate high-impact workstreams with professionalism and care.
What you need:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, or related field preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management with a focus on business process improvement.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a regulated industry (medical device experience required).
  • Hands-on Lean methodology experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Comfortable leveraging a range of project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience supporting clinical operations or programs with clinical trial process impacts.
  • $100,500- $215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
