The Program Manager will support the Autonomy team, driving execution of initiatives, tracking KPIs, and providing updates to leadership.
We are looking for a highly skilled Contract Program Manager to support our Autonomy team in delivering critical improvements across Perception, Prediction & Behavioral ML, TeleGuidance, Planning & Controls, and Collision Avoidance. This is a project-based role focused on driving execution, tracking KPIs, and enabling engineering teams to deliver on key business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering managers and functional leads to translate high-level project goals into actionable roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive execution of cross-functional initiatives independently, focused on improving autonomous driving behavior.
- Support the development of metrics, measurements, and datasets for Driving Behavior KPIs.
- Proactively identify risks and build mitigation plans with cross functional teams.
- Create and deliver executive-facing updates on status, risks, and key accomplishments.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of program management experience, with a focus on software development.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects independently.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, JIRA, Smartsheet, risk matrix).
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Experience in AI/ML, autonomous vehicles, robotics, and/or automotive or aerospace processes is highly desired
- Familiarity with autonomous system KPIs and engineering metrics.
- Prior contract or consulting experience in high-paced tech environments
