JOB DESCRIPTION
The Program Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration across the Healthy Buildings division at UL Solutions. This role ensures seamless coordination between internal teams to optimize workflows, improve customer experience, and support strategic growth initiatives across operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Manager performs analyses of economic, industry, customer, and other similar data to manage the current business and proactively solve issues. Works with staff and management in a leadership role to facilitate business, financial and operations planning for new and current business opportunities. Works with operational management to facilitate long-range and annual strategic planning, and capacity planning processes. Tracks and evaluates plan results, advises operational management and develops corrective actions. Responsible for ensuring customer delight and operational success from the time of sale to contract closure.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales to align operational processes with client acquisition strategies and ensure accurate project information is captured upfront
  • Work closely with the Reporting teams to develop dashboards and performance metrics that support data-driven decision-making
  • Coordinate with Reporting team to ensure service delivery meets client expectations and feedback loops are integrated into operational improvements
  • Liaise with Invoicing and Credit & Collections teams to resolve billing issues, manage portal workflows, and ensure timely invoice generation and delivery
  • Collaborate with Operations to streamline service line execution, manage resource utilization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Operational Leadership
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver services efficiently and profitably
  • Assist with service line financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and utilization targets
  • Implement standardized processes for project setup, milestone tracking, and closure.
  • Drive adoption of tools and systems (e.g., PSA) to support scalable operations
  • Develop and manage KPI dashboards and reporting

Strategic Initiatives
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with business goals and sustainability objectives
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Support program management efforts including onboarding, scoping, and resource planning

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

What we offer:
  • Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
