The Work

Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the expertise, agility, and commitment to design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client’s business.
 

The Project Analyst/Project Manager will oversee multi‑workstream project delivery within Salesforce environments, ensuring alignment with federal contract standards and organizational objectives. This role manages diverse technical teams, drives Agile processes, and partners closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions. They ensure high‑quality execution across configuration, releases, data integrity, and reporting, while maintaining compliance with federal clearance requirements.
 

Job Location: Fully remote, within the U.S. Periodic client meetings onsite in Washington, DC required.

What You Will Do: 

  • Manage full project lifecycles within Salesforce environments, including scoping, requirements gathering, sprint planning, testing, deployment, and post‑release support.

  • Communicate project goals, milestones, timelines, and risks clearly to stakeholders across business and technical groups.

  • Establish and uphold work standards, monitor progress, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely implementation of solutions.

  • Coordinate closely with stakeholders to validate requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption of Salesforce capabilities.

  • Prepare and deliver program status briefings, reports, and metrics to government stakeholders and internal leadership.

  • Oversee configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Salesforce solutions, including workflows, functions, automations, and custom configurations.

  • Manage Salesforce release cycles, ensuring efficient rollout of new features, platform updates, and security requirements.

  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks
    .

What You Will Bring With You:

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements 

  • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. 

  • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

  • BS/BA in related field (Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred)

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant, professional experience managing delivery of several tasks/workstreams for IT projects/programs

  • Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience with Salesforce.com products and/or Force.com platform

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing diverse technical teams, coaching, and developing team members for mission critical software solutions

  • Active Salesforce Administration or Salesforce Business Analyst certification

  • Agile certification such as PMI-ACP or PMP, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
     

What We Would Like You To Bring With You:

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing program and project management tools, such as JIRA,

  • Salesforce or Microsoft Project to plan, execute, and measure projects

  • Demonstrated ability to set and uphold work standards, manage schedules, supervise technical teams, and communicate organizational goals. Skilled in resolving work discrepancies and ensuring timely implementation of solutions and schedules

  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, including ability to serve as scrum master

  • Federal contracting experience (e.g., experience managing hybrid FFP/T&M contracts)

  • Understanding of VisualForce, HTML, JavaScript. Lightning Web Components, and CSS and their applicability within Salesforce

  • Experience maintaining, enhancing and creating workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment

  • Experience managing new releases of Salesforce.com and efficiently implementing new features

  • Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and complex custom reports

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Provar

  • Experience with accessibility tools such as ANDI, JAWS, or WAVE

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$98,614.00 - $167,644.00
