Project Coordinator III

itD is seeking a Project Coordinator III to support fast-paced engineering programs by coordinating project workstreams, tracking development milestones, managing international logistics, and ensuring engineering deliverables stay organized and on schedule. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in project/program management, international shipping and logistics, engineering development coordination, and Jira, with a proven ability to manage multiple suppliers, stakeholders, and time-sensitive deliverables in a cross-functional environment.

Location: Redmond, WA – Hybrid

Pay Rate: $54/hr DOE

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate engineering workstreams across program managers, technical leads, engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Track project schedules, development milestones, prototype builds, deliverables, actions, and dependencies using Jira and structured project-tracking tools.
  • Manage international shipping, receiving, logistics, and shipment tracking for engineering samples and hardware, with particular emphasis on time-sensitive shipments across global regions.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, status dashboards, presentations, documentation, and development artifacts for stakeholder review.
  • Coordinate with external development partners and suppliers to track tasks, Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries.
  • Partner with finance and purchasing teams to support supplier onboarding, procurement activities, order placement, and delivery tracking.
  • Maintain accurate project records, meeting notes, internal website information, and engineering documentation while proactively identifying schedule risks, outstanding actions, and delivery issues.
Internal Responsibilities
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material, including blogs and media material.
  • Build material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events, both in person and virtually.
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 5–7 years of experience in project or program coordination/management.
  • 3+ years of project/program management experience, including development scheduling and resource planning.
  • Hands-on experience with international shipping, receiving, and logistics; experience supporting logistics in Asia is highly preferred.
  • Experience using Jira for engineering development and project tracking.
  • Experience constructing work breakdown structures and project schedules, including building schedules from the ground up without an established baseline.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, suppliers, deliverables, and changing program priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to collect information, monitor progress, track actions, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, logistics, finance, purchasing, and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where urgent shipments and time-sensitive requests require proactive follow-through.
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours for meetings outside typical Pacific Time business hours.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and new consumer hardware development.
  • Understanding of the basic design and development lifecycle for consumer electronic products.
  • Experience working with cross-functional hardware engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting product development and launch programs.
  • Experience with hardware or adjacent industries such as aerospace, defense contracting, or other complex engineering environments.
  • Experience at large technology or hardware organizations such as Apple or Amazon.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited guidance and quickly adapt to new environments.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proactive, self-starting approach.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required.
