Position:               Project Coordinator

Shift:                      40 hours | Full-time

Reports to:           Project and Operations Manager, FlowRider Inc


FlowRider Inc is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team at our San Diego head office! Reporting to the Project and Operations Manager, this position will assist project management in the administration of all project-related administrative tasks. You will be responsible for the coordination of projects within established schedules & budgets, typically from the sale, through design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning certification and settlement of final accounts.


YOUR ROLE:

  • Set up and maintain all project records including but not limited to analyzing, reviewing, submitting, and managing the execution of project documents.
  • Assist project managers in daily project tasks, including but not limited to procurement, sales orders , timely collection of revenue from clients, and monitoring/managing the installation activities of projects.
  • Document meeting discussions, track action items, and distribute clear summary reports to team members.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and clients to establish project scope, deliverables, and strategic objectives aligned with business goals.
  • Develop a well-rounded knowledge of products and installation requirements.
  • Usage of non-compliance reporting (NCR)/opportunity for improvement (OFI) procedures.
  • There may be an opportunity to managing and overseeing a limited number of small projects concurrently with a focus on On-Time Delivery, maximizing margin and revenue enhancement and minimizing warranty claims.

Qualifications and Experience:   

  • A university, college or technical school training is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a project assistant or coordinator in a similar field.
  • Experience in a technical role with exposure to project management activities preferred.
  • Document Control experience in an engineering or architectural firm would be an asset.
  • Previous experience with the use of SharePoint and Microsoft Project is an asset.
  • Accounting experience is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships with all levels in the organization.
  • Must be a team player and self-starter, and require minimal supervision.
