PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $96,900.00-$118,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $75,300.00 - $140,100.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.  

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE 

You’ll take the lead in driving high-impact projects that power BECU’s analytics initiatives. In this role, you’ll bring clarity to the projects planning process for enterprise analytics. You will be responsible for project planning, implementation, closure, and enterprise analysis to ensure that projects align with business objectives and deliver expected outcomes. You’ll work independently while staying deeply connected to enterprise priorities, ensuring projects move forward with precision and purpose.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Project Execution Leadership: You’ll lead complex, mid- to large-scale projects from planning through execution and closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering measurable outcomes.  

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: You’ll partner with cross-functional teams across the enterprise, aligning priorities, managing expectations, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle  

  • Executive Communication: You’ll provide weekly updates to executive leadership, clearly outlining progress, risks, roadblocks, and recommended solutions.  

  • Workstream & Scope Management: You’ll draft scopes of work, define deliverables, and ensure all project activities are clearly documented and aligned with expectations.  

  • Multi-Project Management: You’ll manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing priorities while maintaining quality and timeliness.  

  • Risk & Issue Management: You’ll proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive resolution strategies to keep projects on track.  

  • Governance & Best Practices: You’ll apply and enhance project management methodologies, ensuring consistency, structure, and operational excellence.  

  • Implement Best Practices: Develop and implement project management practices, governance standards, and metrics specific to the business unit. 

  • Create Detailed Work Plans: Develop detailed work plans for complex projects and assign project team members to support business objectives. 

  • Facilitate Team Alignment: Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to align on project status, issue resolution, and tactic development for the project team. 

  • Track Milestones and Recommendations: Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to project team members, business partners, and stakeholders. 

  • Manage Project Activities: Manage the activities of partners and outside resources working on assigned projects. 

  • Communicate Project Status: Ensure consistent and timely communication for executive sponsors, project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members regarding project status, issues, and risks. 

  • Ensure Business Outcomes: Define, report on, and measure expected business outcomes for all projects upon completion. 

  • Change and Risk Management: Incorporate effective change and risk management controls to ensure project success. 

  • Financial Management: May manage project budget including the creation of a budget forecast and reconciliation of actual spend against forecast. 

  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work and educational experience required. Advanced degree preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects, with a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, effectively solve problems, analyze data, and confidently present insights to executive-level stakeholders  

Desired Qualifications 

  • Project Management or Scrum Master certification preferred 

  • Experience operating in an Agile Framework. 

  • Experience with Enterprise Analytics and Azure DevOps.
