Job Summary:

Neumo's PMO is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of client implementation projects from kickoff through go-live. You'll own the day-to-day health of your project portfolio schedule, scope, budget, risk, and client relationship while partnering with a cross-functional PMO team that's building the standardized reporting, governance, and delivery practices behind One Neumo. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, communicates clearly with both technical teams and government stakeholders, and takes pride in hitting go-live dates without drama.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of government software implementation projects, from kickoff through go-live and transition to support
  • Maintain accurate, real-time project status using Neumo's standard RAG (Red/Amber/Green) framework, ensuring health, risks, and issues are visible to leadership at all times
  • Own project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation; proactively flag at-risk or off-track projects and drive mitigation plans
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building trust and managing expectations throughout the engagement
  • Track and report on key project metrics including ARR/NRR impact, milestone dates, and go-live schedules — into Neumo's centralized portfolio reporting
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with implementation, product, and support teams to remove blockers and keep delivery on track
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including kickoff materials, RACI matrices, change orders, and status reports
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, and delivery methodology across the organization
  • Support change management processes, ensuring scope changes are properly documented, approved, and communicated
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally delivering software implementations to government, public sector, or enterprise clients
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred, not required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of both traditional and Agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong command of project management tooling (Monday.com, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • A track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Sound judgment under ambiguity and a bias toward proactive risk identification over reactive firefighting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting status to executive stakeholders

Work Environment:

  • Office setting with a moderate noise level.
  • The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.

 Physical Demands
:

  • Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Regular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines.
  • Occasional movement around the office.
  • Frequent communication via telephone.
