Position Summary: 

Winchester Interconnect is seeking a Project Manager II to join the Core Engineering team. In this intermediate role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of new product development and commercialization initiatives across company divisions. You will independently manage projects and cross-functional teams, facilitating timely delivery of business-critical milestones with direct accountability for results. Ideal candidates are action-oriented, organized, technically adept, and comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to drive cross-team accountability and solve execution challenges.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field (advanced degree or certification a plus).
  • 2–5 years of project management experience in technical or manufacturing settings.
  • Proven track record leading new product development and commercialization projects.
  • Solid understanding of product development methodologies, phase-gate processes, and technical documentation.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.).
  • Citizenship status must comply with ITAR regulations (US citizen or permanent resident).

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from concept through launch, including planning, execution, and closure.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Quality.
  • Develop, update, and monitor project schedules, resource allocations, risk registers, and reports.
  • Proactively communicate project goals, milestones, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Serve as Core Engineering’s primary liaison to division-level and executive stakeholders.
  • Implement and champion stage-gate product development and improvement efforts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, resource, or timeline risks to maintain momentum.
  • Facilitate design reviews, tollgate meetings, and post-project evaluations.
