  • Drive deployment planning for core Azure infrastructure components such as landing zones, subscriptions, management groups, virtual networks, connectivity, identity integration, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.

  • Translate technical delivery activities into clear project plans, timelines, work packages, and stakeholder communications.

  • Manage project governance, scope, budget, change control, and resource alignment across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Facilitate technical and programmatic meetings, including design reviews, readiness reviews, risk reviews, and executive steering updates.

  • Identify delivery risks, environmental constraints, and interdependencies early, and drive mitigation plans to resolution.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards, especially for regulated or mission-critical environments.

  • Partner with technical leads to validate deployment readiness, testing completion, cutover planning, and support transition requirements.

  • Track deliverables, action items, and decisions to maintain execution discipline and accountability across teams.

  • Support customer and leadership communications with concise, accurate reporting on progress, blockers, financials, and next steps.

  • Promote adoption of project management best practices, delivery standards, and continuous improvement across infrastructure programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • 8+ years of project management experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure or cloud transformation initiatives.

  • 3+ years of experience managing Azure infrastructure deployment projects.

  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery models.

  • Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification.

  • Microsoft Azure certification such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Fundamentals.

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps-enabled delivery models using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.

  • Experience supporting Azure migrations involving servers, applications, storage, or virtual desktop environments.

  • Familiarity with enterprise governance and security frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST, CIS, or Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
