Position: Indigenous Learning Project Manager

Location: Hybrid/Toronto

Duration: 2-3 Months

Position Overview

On behalf of our client, a Big 4 consulting firm, we are recruiting fo a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the delivery of a new Indigenous Learning Series. This short-term contract role will focus on tactical project management, workflow design, and communication asset creation for a virtual “lunch-and-learn” style program.

We are looking for a hands-on professional who can take ownership of timelines, materials, and communications—someone “boots on the ground” who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes pride in producing polished, executive-ready deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project workback plans, schedules, and deliverables for the Indigenous Learning Series.
  • Coordinate logistics, communication materials, and documentation to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Create and edit presentations, PowerPoint decks, workflow charts, and communication templates.
  • Support the Learning team with virtual session coordination and document management in Excel and SharePoint.
  • Prepare professional communication pieces for internal senior leaders and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on messaging, visuals, and project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of relevant project management or learning coordination experience.
  • Proven ability to develop structured workflows and manage complex, short-term projects.
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and project planning tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, polished style.
  • Experience in learning design, learning advisory, or corporate learning environments preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Immediate availability and commitment through the project end (2–3 months).
  • Identification as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit, and/or a strong understanding of Indigenous perspectives, is preferred.
