Role Description
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. The role is remote, with the expectation of travel for client meetings and key engagements as needed. 
In this role, the Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting the firm within both the learning solutions business and consulting business. This role partners closely with project leads to ensure seamless execution of client engagements from initiation through closeout. 

The Project Manager will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, proactive, tactical, and energized by working in a nimble organization. The Project Manager will demonstrate strong learning agility, executive presence, and a sense of urgency in mastering all facets of the firm. The Project Manager will drive consistent, high-quality project outcomes aligned with WLH’s goals, mission, and values. Strong written and oral communication skills are critical. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and manage assigned initiatives across WLH focus areas including change management, leadership development, human capital optimization, account management, and business acumen. 
  • Participate in client calls, capturing detailed notes and key insights to support project delivery. 
  • Synthesize discovery inputs into clear, structured summaries and initial client-ready deliverables (e.g., interview summaries, findings). 
  • Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Maintain excellent working relationships and collaborate with WLH team members and clients as measured through feedback. 
  • Plan, manage, and communicate the progress of projects, achieving project milestones and maintaining project momentum. 
  • Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks; escalate when appropriate. 
  • Work collaboratively with project delivery leads and project resources. 
  • Effectively manage scope, budget, timeline, resources, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the project. 
  • Apply project management skills to manage all tasks related to assigned projects. 
  • Track and report key metrics and exceptions related to plan execution. 
  • Support project execution across multiple workstreams, balancing approximately 20 hours/week in project management and 20 hours/week in hands-on project support. 

Requirements

  • Ability to handle confidential data and information. 
  • Ability to handle various projects simultaneously; adapts quickly and easily and manages multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. 
  • Excellent teamwork skills; works effectively as part of multiple, varied project teams and demonstrates a genuine commitment to team success. 
  • Independently organizes and performs required work with minimal guidance, direction, and follow-up. 
  • Demonstrated strong learning agility and proficiency with technology platforms and business hardware/software, including Microsoft 360 tools (PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, MS Forms, etc.). 
  • Takes initiative and ownership; proactive, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines. 
  • Formal Project Management methodology training with significant practical use. Certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus. 
  • Experience managing projects within pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations, particularly those focused on commercial excellence, strategic execution, and organizational change initiatives.
