What You Will Do

As the NPD Project Manager for India, you will play a critical role in driving growth, profitability, and business continuity across the India market. You will lead initiatives spanning inter-affiliate (cross-region) supply as well as in-region project execution aligned with India leadership priorities. This role will support the delivery of innovation, renovation, portfolio optimization, regulatory-driven changes, and business continuity projects across Kenvue's OTC and Self Care portfolio, ensuring timely execution while maintaining compliance, consumer trust, and commercial competitiveness.

This role is central to orchestrating end-to-end collaboration across cross-functional teams, including Value Stream, Commercial, IMO Leadership, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, and external manufacturing partners, to ensure seamless execution of New Product Development (NPD) initiatives and lifecycle management projects within highly regulated OTC and Self Care categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of OTC and Self Care portfolio initiatives, including new product launches, line extensions, reformulations, claims updates, pack changes, regulatory-driven projects, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment from project approval through commercialization, partnering across R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project feasibility, define Final Project Objectives (FPO), evaluate investments and resource requirements, and develop detailed execution plans and timelines.
  • Manage project complexity arising from regulated products, market-specific requirements, consumer healthcare trends, and supply chain constraints while maintaining speed-to-market objectives.
  • Lead lifecycle management initiatives across OTC and Self Care brands, balancing consumer needs, regulatory requirements, operational efficiencies, and commercial priorities.
  • Drive proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across all stages of the SPEED (Smart Project Execution & Delivery) framework, including risks related to supply continuity, regulatory approvals, formulation changes, sourcing strategies, and project execution.
  • Proactively identify and communicate scope changes ("trigger events") to senior leadership, providing clear recommendations and alternative solutions.
  • Conduct forward-looking analyses to identify acceleration opportunities and strengthen business cases, considering end-to-end impacts across Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver.
  • Facilitate core team meetings and governance reviews, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment, timely decision-making, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks through regular project reviews, status reporting, and escalation management to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12-15 years of experience in project, program, or product lifecycle management with strong cross-functional exposure across functions such as R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Quality.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in Consumer Health, OTC, Self Care, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of New Product Development (NPD), lifecycle management, commercialization, and regulatory requirements within Consumer Health markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end project/program management, including planning, execution, risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working in GMP and/or ISO-regulated environments preferred.
  • Proficiency with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools and Process Excellence methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong project management and execution capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to develop basic business cases and understand financial implications and end-to-end business impact
  • Resilience and ability to perform under pressure while managing changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Self-driven with the ability to independently lead and deliver outcomes
  • Strong follow-through to ensure timely closure of actions
  • Operational and commercial acumen
