GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage business is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the Americas.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects, gaining exposure to projects ranging from \$10M to \$200M in value

  • Assist in managing customer relationships — learning to communicate effectively, resolve issues proactively, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Contribute to contract management activities including reporting, tracking receivables, monitoring change orders, and supporting claim resolution

  • Track and report on key project metrics including safety, quality, schedule, cost, and cash flow under the guidance of senior project managers

  • Coordinate with internal teams — working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, finance, and field services to support product delivery and commissioning

  • Maintain project documentation — keeping records, action logs, risk registers, and status reports accurate and up to date

  • Participate in customer and internal meetings — developing your communication and stakeholder management skills in a professional setting

  • Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all project activities

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field)

  • 3–5 years of project management, engineering, or related professional experience (internship or co-op experience counts!)

  • Fluent English communication skills — written and verbal

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred qualifications:

  • Academic or professional exposure to solar, BESS, or broader energy/power systems

  • Internship or project experience in construction, engineering, or energy sectors

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar

  • Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles

  • PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP credentials

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $166,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
