What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Manage a high volume of projects with tight and frequently shifting timelines, ensuring schedules are continuously updated, accurately prioritized, and aligned with evolving customer and operational needs.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope, key milestones, and timelines to create and maintain a detailed, realistic project schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders through frequent verbal updates, formal presentations, and participation in cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear alignment, timely information sharing, and strong professional relationships
  • Maintain and update project tracking tools with accurate schedule dates, contact details, and relevant project information.
  • Escalate risks or issues promptly, when milestone dates or deliverables are at risk.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and support consistent performance across all assigned responsibilities.
  • Perform risk mitigation by site parameters, resource availability, and customer milestones to minimize impacts to field operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders gather essential scheduling inputs —including milestone targets, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Identify and document potential scheduling risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies to maintain project progress and on-time delivery.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • At least 5 years of experience of proven experience managing high-volume, fast-paced projects with shifting deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling practices, and milestone tracking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present to and collaborate with high-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms).
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to identify risks, assess impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to analyze processes and recommend efficiency enhancements.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

  • Associates degree in Engineering or related field

Minimum Experience: 3 years relevant project scheduling experience

Preferred Experience (but not required): 

  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation and/or AV systems
  • Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
