Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

As a Ground Protection Project Manager, you will be responsible for the installation and breakdown of all assigned Ground Protection events and access jobs nationwide including coordinating with the Strategic Customer Support Team and Branch personnel for all required equipment, trucking schedules, labor calls and any other related operational needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of ground protection specialists, allocating tasks and resources efficiently
  • Oversee all aspects of ground protection projects, from planning to execution, ensuring on-time completion
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Conduct safety briefings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment
  • Document project activities from daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, and all other necessary documentation as part of the protocol for each project and report status to upper management
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to ground protection specialists, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Foster open and effective communication with clients, addressing their needs, providing project updates, and ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Work with truck drivers and freight brokers on an efficient execution of all product deliveries
  • Coordinate logistics including equipment transportation and maintenance
  • Oversee temporary labor on-site

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive travel (Greater than 75% Nationwide)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in developing relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Strong business and technical acumen, good analytical skills
  • Good project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Understands basic knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Internet/Intranet and Wynne system
  • Excellent knowledge of construction equipment (forklifts, skidsteers, loaders, etc.)
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred

Base Pay Range: $69,872.00 - 96,074.00
