IT Project Manager

About the Role
As the first project manager to join our small but rapidly growing IT team, you will be responsible for managing projects for all the internal corporate IT and business systems.
A key aspect will be to align with multiple departments (e.g. People Ops, InfoSec, Workplace) to determine project requirements. You will own creating the project charter and timelines, managing resources, and driving the project to completion. You should have strong organizational planning skills and an understanding of technology and business systems.
Responsibilities
- Create an IT project intake process, plan project workflows, and maintain schedules
- Align and set expectations with stakeholders on the scope of work and deliverables
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan in JIRA
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to stakeholders and the technology leadership team about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Run project sprints and scrums
- Assist with planning OKR’s and IT budget
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management
- Experience with Agile development and scrum project management.
- Experience planning, managing, and delivering small to large scale projects.
- A proven record of leading cross-functional teams and successfully delivering results.
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of IT and business systems
- Strong vendor and budget management skills.
- Experience with physical office builds and moves a big plus
