About the Role
To support our rapid growth, we are looking for Technical Program Managers in our San Francisco office. This is a strategic role as you will help build the foundation of program and portfolio management from the ground up. As a Technical Program Manager, you will work with engineering leaders, product management teams, and cross functional teams to plan and deliver our ambitious portfolio roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Help build an effective Technical Program Management function from the ground up.
- Introduce and improve the best practices for portfolio program management to enable both product features and engineering roadmaps. Partner with stakeholders to plan the overall portfolio roadmaps with clear alignment and accountability.
- Partner with teams to ensure execution to commitment. As needed, hands on manage strategic / complex technical programs with internal and external partners.
- Create an effective communication cadences across teams, stakeholders and with executive teams.
- Build and iterate on various processes with leaders and teams to drive alignment, simplify execution, and improve quality and efficiency.
- Identify and optimize tooling for efficiency.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experiences in building strong teams and leading software programs.
- Have deep knowledge of portfolio planning and management in dynamic organizations.
- Strong ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership. Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
- Nice to have - payment industry background.
