The Provider Relations Manager plays a critical role in expanding Salma Health’s referral network across Orange County and San Diego. Orange County, CA (Field-Based / Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and optimization of high-impact referral partnerships with health systems, primary care providers (PCPs), psychiatrists, therapists, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, PHPs, and outpatient behavioral health clinics.

  • Design and execute targeted outreach strategies aligned with Salma Health’s patient populations and clinical offerings.

  • Represent Salma Health in the field through in-person meetings, events, and educational sessions to deepen relationships and increase brand awareness.

  • Lead the development and execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to formalize partnerships and ensure alignment on referral workflows and communication standards.

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to localize messaging, co-host provider events, and support market-level growth initiatives.

  • Analyze referral data to identify high-performing channels and optimize partnership strategies.

  • Track outreach activity, referral volume, and partner engagement in CRM systems.

  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor performance metrics, provider satisfaction, and referral trends.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, partnerships, or strategic sales.

  • Strong familiarity with the Orange County or San Diego healthcare landscape; existing provider relationships strongly preferred.

  • Experience working within behavioral health, primary care, or specialty care environments.

  • Demonstrated success driving referral growth or building partnerships with physician groups, hospitals, or health systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to build operational processes from scratch and a disciplined approach to documenting workflows, ensuring all institutional knowledge is captured and accessible to the broader team.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

  • Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, field-based role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-site clinic growth or market expansion.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and healthcare referral tracking systems.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this position includes:

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.

  • Incentives: Performance-based incentive bonus structure.

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and additional benefits.
