Who We Are

Arrive Logistics is a leading transportation and technology company in North America with plans to grow significantly year over year. Our success is a testament to our remarkable team and what we’re building together. We’re committed to providing employees with a meaningful work experience and have established an award-winning culture that supports personal and career development in a fun, casual, and collaborative environment.

Who We Want

The Public Relations Specialist supports Arrive’s public relations and communications work across the business, partnering closely with the VP of Marketing and the Senior Events & Engagement Manager.  This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who is detail oriented and comfortable moving quickly between very different tasks — drafting a media pitch in the morning, building an event document in the afternoon, and keeping a calendar or tracker current in between.

Arrive is bringing public relations in-house, and this role is a core part of making that work. Day to day it means supporting media outreach, drafting company announcements, maintaining our communications calendars and trackers, and preparing the materials that surround our customer and executive events. Direction on positioning, story angles and priorities comes from marketing leadership. The strength of this role is turning that direction into well-written, well-executed work at pace, and being the person who keeps the details from slipping.

What You'll Do

  • Media Relations Support: Help maintain and grow relationships with trade, national and industry reporters. Monitor inbound platforms such as HARO and Qwoted daily and flag relevant opportunities. Draft pitches and press materials, and support outreach against the coverage cadence set with marketing leadership.
  • Company Announcements: Draft and coordinate company announcements as they arise, including new offices, partnerships, service expansion and recognition, working across marketing and leadership to move them through review and out the door.
  • PR Calendar & Trackers: Build and maintain the PR calendar, media lists, coverage trackers and related documentation, keeping everything current and accessible to the team.
  • Story Gathering: Collect and organize story material from across the business, partnering with Market Intelligence on freight market data, Content on depth pieces, and Internal Communications on employee and employer-brand stories. Bring what you find to marketing leadership for direction on angle and priority.
  • Spokesperson Support: Help subject matter experts across Arrive and support their preparation for media, podcasts and industry features, including background documents and talking points.
  • Event Communications & Materials: Support the communications that surround our customer and executive events, including invitations, attendee communications, on-site messaging and follow-up, along with supporting materials such as briefing documents, agendas and executive one-pagers, in partnership with the events team.
  • Reporting: Track media placements, coverage and event communications activity, and prepare summaries for the team on a consistent cadence.
  • Team Support: Provide communications, writing and operational support across the marketing team as priorities shift and bandwidth allows.
  • Other Project Needs: Assist with additional project needs as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to support the organization’s goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, including internship experience.
  • Strong writing ability across formats, including pitches, announcements, audience communications and supporting documents.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of catching what others miss.
  • Comfort moving between multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities without losing track of the details.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with executives, customers, media and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • A collaborative approach, and comfort taking direction from multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and a willingness to adopt new tools quickly, including AI platforms.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
