The Opportunity
As a Research and Planning Manager within our Tax practice, you will play a pivotal role in guiding businesses through intricate tax regulations and optimizing their tax positions. You will oversee tax-related issues impacting businesses across various domains, including local and foreign income, and transaction tax compliance. Your expertise in tax consulting will be crucial in advising on strategic and operational matters that influence business decisions.
As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to motivate, develop, and inspire your team to deliver quality results. You are responsible for coaching and utilizing team members' unique strengths to meet client expectations. With your growing business acumen, you will identify opportunities that contribute to the firm's success, leading with integrity and authenticity. You will embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

Responsibilities
- Leading tax planning and compliance initiatives for partnership tax clients
- Overseeing the preparation and review of partnership tax returns and related documents
- Providing strategic tax consulting services to optimize client tax positions
- Analyzing complex tax regulations and identifying their impact on client operations
- Developing and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborating with stakeholders to address tax-related issues and opportunities
- Utilizing analytical thinking to identify linkages within tax systems and processes
- Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations
- Embracing technology and innovation to improve tax service delivery
- Upholding professional and technical standards in all tax-related activities
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Demonstrating proficiency in Corporate Tax Consulting and Planning
- Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance tax research and documentation
- Embracing change and innovation in tax management processes
- Developing skills in international taxation and regulatory compliance
- Excelling in communication and relationship building with stakeholders
The salary range for this position is: $73,500 - $212,280. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $73,500 - $244,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
