Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in the realm of immersive virtual reality learning design, is seeking a QA Analyst who will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge educational VR platform. He will develop and execute comprehensive test cases, perform hands-on manual testing of VR applications built in Unity, and validate internal tools and automation for seamless integration.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the future of virtual reality.

This is a temporary backfill intended to provide coverage while an employee is on a leave of absence.

Role Responsiblities

  • Analyze user stories and requirements to develop detailed test cases. 
  • Perform manual testing of VR applications developed in Unity. 
  • Test in-house tools and automation to ensure they function correctly and integrate seamlessly with our VR platform. 
  • Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Validate bug fixes and ensures the overall quality of the product. 
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure alignment of quality objectives. 
  • Ensure the application functions as intended from a user perspective. 
  • Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. 
  • Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies. 
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA.

Requirements
  • ·Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA analysis. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
  • Experience testing in-house tools and automation. 
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with VR technology and Unity XR plugins. 
  • Understanding of user experience principles in VR environments. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment. 
  • Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB). 

Benefits
  • Salary: $7,083 per month
