Lead QA efforts for portal applications: review requirements, design and execute manual and automated tests, log defects, validate data/SQL, ensure cross-browser and mobile coverage, run API/web/database tests, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
This is a remote position.
• Review and analyse software requirements and technical specifications. • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans.• Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to automation strategy.
• Execute test cases manually and through automated frameworks.
• Log, track, and report detailed defects with clear steps and supporting evidence.
• Prepare test reports and provide objective feedback to the development team.
• Ensure test coverage across multiple browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
• Perform Functional test, Regression test, Unit test, Performance test and Load test for API, Web application, Database, Web services.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, Program Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables. Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 6+ years of recent hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and SDLC.
• Experience in data validation concepts, and SQL validation.
• Well versed with creating, importing and running test cases using test management tools like TFS (Team Foundation Server).
• Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, with ability to write and analyse complex queries.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Microsoft Visual Studio, or Protractor for AngularJS.
• Experience testing large-scale applications across multiple platforms and browsers.
• Experience testing mobile applications across iOS and Android OS.
• Prior testing experience in US Healthcare systems/applications is highly desired.
• Understanding of the US health insurance landscape, including Portals, Claims Processing, Billing and Reporting, and System Integrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
