The QA Release Engineer is responsible for maintaining the ML model merge queue and releasing new models to vehicles, improving developer efficiency and tracking issues.
Location: Foster City, CA
40 hour work week but must be open to flexible hours (i.e. before or after typical business hours)
Job Description:our team is looking for a release engineer to fill the critical role of maintaining a ML model merge queue and releasing new ML models on vehicle. In this role, the release engineer will work on processes to improve developer efficiency and reduce delays in branch updates.
Responsibilities:
- Own a critical piece of maintaining model merge queue and releasing ML model to vehicle
- Train and release ML models weekly combining all the developer updates
- Ensure the development branch is up to date with changes from master and aid in conflict resolution
- Create and implement processes to track model merge queue as well as bisect issues to specific PRs
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of experience
- Background in C++ and/or python
- Experience with git and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication skills
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with any of the following:
- Executing large scale MQs and bisecting to PRs
- Machine learning and kicking off training and understanding results
