Dyna Robotics makes general-purpose robots powered by a proprietary embodied AI foundation model that generalizes and self-improves across varied environments with commercial-grade performance. Dyna's robots have been deployed at customers across multiple industries. Our frontier model has the top generalization and performance in the industry.
The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on QA Tester to support the validation of software releases across Dyna’s robotics platform.
This is an onsite role where you will work directly with our robots, teleoperation systems, and operator-facing tooling to ensure releases are functioning correctly before customer deployment. You will execute structured test plans, validate core workflows, identify regressions, and clearly document issues for our engineering teams.
This role is ideal for someone with strong QA instincts who enjoys structured testing, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment where hardware and software evolve quickly.
What You’ll DoRelease Validation & QA Testing: Execute structured QA testing for software releases across robot UI workflows, teleoperation systems, data collection tooling, and model inference flows.
Teleop & Workflow Testing: Work directly with Dyna’s robotic systems and VR teleoperation equipment during testing cycles.
Bug Reporting & Documentation: Document issues clearly and consistently so engineering teams can reproduce and resolve problems efficiently.
Regression & Quality Monitoring: Help ensure release quality continuously improves over time as our platform scales.
1–3+ years of QA testing experience in software, hardware-software, gaming, robotics, VR/AR, or technical product environments.
Strong experience executing structured test cases and identifying regressions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.
A detail-oriented mindset and high consistency when following rigorous testing workflows.
Adaptability in fast-moving environments with frequent releases and evolving processes.
Quick learning ability to pick up new technical workflows and systems smoothly.
Experience testing robotics, VR/AR, gaming, or hardware-integrated software systems.
Familiarity with Meta Quest or other VR headsets.
Experience with QA tracking tools, spreadsheets, or release management workflows (e.g., Jira, Datadog, Linear).
Prior experience in a startup or rapidly evolving product environment.
Note: You do not need to be an engineer or write code for this role. We are looking for someone who takes testing seriously, follows processes carefully, and communicates issues clearly.
