In this role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end QA strategy for Auto Originations, establishing clear standards for accuracy, consistency, and control across the lending lifecycle.
- Oversee second-level QA reviews across application intake, underwriting, stipulation review, funding, and dealer processes, ensuring independent and credible quality assessments.
- Identify performance, risk, and control gaps using data-driven insights, and partner with operational leaders to drive sustainable corrective actions.
- Translate QA results into clear, business-focused narratives, delivering concise, trusted insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology to strengthen process rigor while improving customer and dealer experience.
- Inspire, develop, and lead a team of QA managers and professionals, fostering a positive culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Prepare QA functions for success in audits, regulatory exams, and internal reviews, by ensuring strong documentation, and transparency.
- Maintain ownership and creation of key controlsthat are focused on mitigating risks across Origination teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading QA programs in a large-scale, highly regulated financial services environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex QA findings into clear actions.
- Deep understanding of Auto Originations processes and end-to-end operational workflows.
- Ability to communicate complex risk and quality themes with clarity, confidence, and executive presence.
- Knowledge of Auto lending regulatory requirements, including Reg B, FCRA, and UDAAP.
- Experience leveraging QA platforms, workflow management tools, and performance scorecards to scale insights.
- Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI to support QA analysis and reporting.
- Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps to track issues, remediation efforts, and process enhancements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, ambiguity, or transformation.
