Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support quality engineering activities including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and quality audits.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with Honeywell’s quality standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures to improve product quality and reduce defects.
  • Document and investigate customer complaints and product return.
  • Initiate and manage corrective actions. Review, approve or develop corrective actions to ensure robust Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) is taken.
  • Assist other functional groups in reaching effective RCCA.
  • Review and approve product related Change Notices (CNs) within the documentation system.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits of processes assigned by management team. This includes, but is not limited to, preparation of audit schedule and audit plans, conducting audits, and monitoring the performance of the audit process, as appropriate.
  • Aggregate, analyze and maintain quality system metrics related to customer returns, internal process quality and audits and report to Quality Management.
  • Utilize six sigma tools to continuously develop and improve processes and systems contributing to cost of quality.
    Use problem solving skills, data and sound judgement to analyze quality issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles including root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and quality audits to support product and process improvements
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and supplier quality management practices

WE VALUE

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics or Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industries
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives

The annual base salary range for this position is $77,000.00 - $106,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
