Pay Range -  $79,000 to $102,000 per year (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills.)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The position will be a key member of the internal audit function for Kyocera International, Inc.  The position will work closely with the Quality Systems Manager in strengthening the company's internal audit program, change management, system implementation, and general process controls.  The individual will audit internal operations to ensure the adequacy of internal controls and evaluate operational effectiveness and efficiency. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executing audit programs, preparing audit reports, documenting findings, performing data analysis, and communicating recommendations for improvements.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also successfully executing independent assignments
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal control processes
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Willingness to participate in the development or modification of audit programs to test key controls effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to assess risks
  • Ability to formalize audit observations and draft reports
