OGC is a boutique research and consulting agency specializing in data-driven strategy, quantitative analytics, and Customer Experience (CX) program design and optimization. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations across a variety of industries, including Financial Services, Specialty Retail, Telecommunications, Hospitality and Software, helping them to gain a deep understanding of their customers, develop actionable insights, and improve business processes.

We're looking for a researcher who is passionate about understanding users through data and translating insights into impactful experiences. You'll bring strong experimental design and statistical expertise, survey research skills, and clear communication to the team, with a particular focus on supporting our e-commerce product group during a period of significant releases.

About the role:

  • Design and execute experiments (A/B tests and related methodologies) to support product decisions, with priority support for the e-commerce product group

  • Determine appropriate sample sizes and select the correct statistical tests for a given research question

  • Recommend the right experimental approach for a given business or product problem

  • Conduct and analyze quantitative survey research — design, fielding, and analysis

  • Collaborate closely with interaction designers, content strategists, product managers, and marketers

  • Support customer experience measurement programs, including survey execution, data quality monitoring, and longitudinal reporting

  • Work with researchers, analysts, and data scientists to triangulate findings across data sources

  • Translate complex data into clear, well-designed presentations and actionable recommendations that influence product design

  • 2–4+ years of experience in quantitative UX or market research within software or digital product environments (senior analyst level; more experienced candidates also considered)

  • Strong background in experimental design and statistics (hypothesis testing, significance testing, sample size calculation)

  • Hands-on survey research experience; familiarity with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics) is a plus

  • Proficiency with tools like Excel, R, or Python for running analyses

  • Strong data storytelling and presentation/deck-building skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Skilled at fostering alignment within your team and stakeholders
