- System Expertise: Possess a strong working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including:
- UPS: Uninterruptible Power Supplies
- Generators: Backup power generation systems
- Chillers: Refrigeration systems for cooling equipment
- Switchgear: Electrical distribution and control equipment
- Commercial HVAC: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems
- Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for critical infrastructure systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking records for all critical infrastructure equipment.
- Track and analyze maintenance records to identify trends and proactively address potential issues.
- 24/7 Support: Respond to all critical alarms during after-hours periods as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize system performance, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in critical infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of facility operations and best practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CMMS software and other relevant tools.
