We are seeking a warm, polished, and detail-oriented Spa Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our spa guests. This role is essential in creating a serene, welcoming environment and ensuring each guest’s experience is seamless from arrival to departure.

  

Purpose (Why the Role Exists)

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for curating a calm, elevated guest experience while managing daily spa operations at the front desk. This role ensures that all guest interactions reflect the luxury standards of Farmhouse Inn and support the spa’s commitment to wellness, relaxation, and personalized care.

  

Core Responsibilities (What You Will Do)

Guest Experience & Service

  • Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of hospitality 
  • Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, and products 
  • Anticipate guest needs and create a personalized, memorable experience 
  • Maintain a tranquil and welcoming spa environment at all times 

Reservations & Coordination

  • Schedule, modify, and confirm spa appointments using reservation systems 
  • Coordinate therapist schedules and treatment room availability 
  • Communicate guest preferences and special requests to spa team members 
  • Manage daily appointment flow to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction 

Operations & Administration

  • Handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally 
  • Process payments, manage billing, and maintain accurate records 
  • Support retail sales by recommending spa products aligned with guest needs 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and retail areas 

Team Collaboration

  • Partner with spa therapists, hotel front desk, and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service 
  • Uphold Farmhouse Inn service standards and brand values 
  • Participate in daily briefings and ongoing training initiatives 

  

Qualifications (What You Bring)

  • Previous experience in a luxury spa, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-touch service environment 
  • Proficiency in reservation systems (SpaSoft, Booker, or similar) preferred 
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. (retail inventory, supplies) 
  • Comfortable working in a quiet, low-light spa environment
