About the Role
DeepLearning.AI is seeking an AI-forward Recruiter to support our Lead Recruiter and help build a world-class talent engine. In this role, you’ll focus on the tactical execution of recruiting: sourcing candidates, screening, managing pipelines, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer processes, while using advanced AI tools to reimagine how recruiting should work. Recruiting like it's 2022 (before modern Generative AI) no longer makes sense. This role gives you an opportunity to be at the forefront of where recruiting is going in an AI-enabled world. This is not a traditional recruiter role. You’ll actively use AI tools to automate manual tasks, accelerate sourcing, and improve candidate experience. You will partner closely with our engineering team as a domain expert on recruiting, and provide feedback on what tools would be most helpful. Thus, you will help shape our portfolio of advanced AI-enabled recruiting tools. A key part of this role is hands-on full-cycle technical recruiting, including sourcing and screening AI engineers, data scientists, and full-stack engineers, for roles across our ecosystem of companies. What You’ll Do
Technical Recruiting Execution
- With assistance from our AI systems, source and engage technical candidates across AI/ML, data science, software engineering, and full-stack development.
- With AI assistance, screen inbound applicants and coordinate next steps with the Lead Recruiter. .
- Help host in-person recruiting events to engage candidates across the AI community.
- Manage assigned pipelines from sourcing → screening → coordination → close.
- Draft outreach messages, schedule interviews, and maintain timely communication.
- Support offer logistics and negotiation.
GenAI-Enabled Recruiting
- Extensively use our custom GenAI tools to accelerate sourcing, candidate research, screening, and automation of multiple steps of the recruiting workflow
- Experiment with new AI tools and continually refine how we recruit
Partner With Engineering on AI Recruiting Tools
- Serve as a domain expert on recruiting pain points and priorities.
- Test new AI recruiting tool prototypes and provide feedback.
- Suggest features and improvements that will accelerate recruiting
- Help the team develop playbooks and best practices for AI-enabled recruiting
Candidate Experience
- Ensure clear, warm, and timely communication for all candidates
- Represent DeepLearning.AI’s brand and mission with professionalism and authenticity
Process & Operations
- Keep ATS pipelines (Lever) clean, organized, and up to date.
- Track recruiting metrics and surface insights that improve speed and quality.
- Contribute to templates, checklists, and workflows that keep recruiting running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3+ years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent coordination.
- Hands-on experience hiring technical talent (AI/ML, DS, SWE, or full-stack).
- Strong sourcing skills using a variety of information sources, such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience managing multiple pipelines and coordinating across stakeholders.
