We’re looking for our first Founding Recruiter to lead all things talent acquisition at New Lantern. You’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle across engineering, product, sales, and operations, while helping us build scalable recruiting processes from the ground up. This is a highly visible role working directly with the CEO and leadership team.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers to define roles, write job descriptions, and set recruiting strategies.
Own full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing candidates.
Build and maintain a strong top-of-funnel through creative sourcing (LinkedIn, referrals, events, etc.).
Deliver an excellent candidate experience at every stage.
Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish foundational recruiting systems, processes, and tools.
Represent New Lantern’s mission and culture to the external talent market.
2+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
Proven success hiring across technical (engineering, product) and non-technical (sales, operations) roles.
Strong sourcing ability and creative approach to finding talent.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple open roles.
Passion for startups and excitement about building recruiting from scratch.
Experience scaling teams from 10 → 50+ employees.
Familiarity with ATS tools (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever).
Prior experience in health tech or regulated industries.
