Job Description
- Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and recruit talented candidates for caregiving positions.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews for care staff.
- Facilitate the hiring process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain a detailed record of all recruitment activities in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Build and nurture relationships with candidates to improve retention rates.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager and Scheduler to ensure caregiver retention.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and identify new sourcing strategies.
- Proactively source and recruit talented candidates for caregiving positions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a recruiter, ideally in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with candidates and teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills to develop new strategies for sourcing and retaining talent.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Empathy and excellent listening skills to connect with candidates.
- Tenacity and drive to meet and exceed recruitment goals.
- Ability to work independently and handle on-call duties when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a business-related degree is a plus.
- At least two years of business experience or experience in recruitment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and caregiving is an advantage.
- Experience with CNA or PCA certification is a plus.
