Recruiter

Reports to: HR & Recruiting Manager

Location: Remote (Argentina-based)

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: Competitive USD pay

About the Role

As a Recruiter at Shapely, you will play a critical role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for a rapidly growing, mission-driven company. You will partner closely with hiring managers and the HR team to understand hiring needs and build effective recruitment strategies. You will own full-cycle recruiting across a wide range of roles — from healthcare profiles in the United States to corporate positions across multiple business areas globally — directly impacting our ability to scale and deliver better care to patients.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, loves the hunt, and brings a strategic mindset to every search.

What You'll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for two main talent streams:

    • Healthcare profiles in the U.S., including Providers (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) and Dietitians.

    • Corporate profiles globally, across areas such as Marketing, Finance, Tech, Operations, and others as the company scales.

  • Proactively source and attract top talent through diverse channels, including LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing.

  • Screen resumes and conduct virtual interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and design effective recruitment strategies.

  • Champion and continuously improve the candidate experience from first touchpoint through offer, ensuring alignment with Shapely's values.

  • Contribute to employer branding efforts across job descriptions, outreach messaging, and candidate communications.

  • Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for active and anticipated openings.

  • In partnership with the HR Manager, maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting on personnel, new hires, and TA KPIs.

  • Track, analyze, and optimize recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, funnel conversion, source effectiveness) to improve hiring outcomes.

  • Bring creative ideas to the table and drive special projects that elevate our talent function.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • +3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including hunting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.

  • Proven experience recruiting for the U.S. market (required).

  • Hands-on experience working with multiple sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and others).

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (required).

  • Strategic mindset: you see beyond the req and think about talent as a long-term lever for the business.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and creative.

  • Comfortable (and excited) in fast-moving startup environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is part of the game.

  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have
  • Experience recruiting healthcare profiles in the U.S., such as Providers (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) and Dietitians.

  • Experience recruiting corporate profiles across functions like Marketing, Finance, and Tech.

  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruiting analytics tools.

  • Experience partnering with hiring managers across multiple time zones and cultures.

Benefits
  • Competitive USD compensation.

  • 100% remote work

  • PTO

  • Direct impact on the growth of a fast-scaling, mission-driven company changing how weight loss care is delivered.

  • A collaborative, low-ego startup culture where your ideas are heard and your ownership is real.

  • Opportunities for professional growth as the Talent function scales.

  • Exposure to a wide variety of roles and markets (U.S. healthcare hiring and global corporate hiring).
