Lead and develop a team of Recruiting Coordinators, manage interview scheduling, and drive operational improvements in recruiting processes.
Zoox is building autonomous vehicles from the ground up — and hiring the world-class talent to do it demands a recruiting coordination function that operates with precision at scale. We're looking for a Recruiting Coordination Lead to run our RC team, own the candidate interview experience, and drive operational improvements across the talent organization. You'll partner closely with Talent Operations, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure Zoox's interview process is fast, consistent, and a genuine competitive advantage.
In this role, you will
- Lead and develop a team of Recruiting Coordinators — setting priorities, managing performance, balancing workload, and coaching professional growth
- Personally manage complex and executive-level interview scheduling while maintaining team-wide quality and consistency across onsite, virtual, and phone formats
- Analyze scheduling metrics, interviewer capacity and utilization, candidate experience survey data, and coordination KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements
- Initiate and lead operational excellence projects such as interviewer training programs, candidate onsite experience enhancements, and interview loop standardization
- Partner with Talent Operations, recruiters, and hiring managers to build scalable coordination and recruiting processes that keep pace with Zoox's hiring goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of recruiting coordination experience in a technology environment, including direct experience leading or supervising a coordination team
- Demonstrated ability to use data — scheduling metrics, capacity models, experience surveys — to inform process decisions, not just report on them
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading initiatives from scoping through execution alongside day-to-day operational delivery
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ATS platforms (Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby) and scheduling automation tools
- Experience in recruiting operations, and familiarity with recruiting analytics and dashboards
