The Opportunity

BetterUp is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our recruiting team on a 12-week contract basis. We need an organized, detail-oriented problem-solver to support our Recruiters and Hiring Managers in scheduling and coordinating interviews. You will play a critical role in delivering a stellar candidate experience across the organization.

What you’ll do:
  • Schedule all interviews and debrief sessions including phone screens, video screens, and remote onsite interviews

  • Respond to candidate emails or scheduling tasks within 24 hours

  • Manage all candidate questions and concerns with a sense of urgency, empathy, and a high standard of customer experience

  • Work closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Interviewers to deliver an exceptional and consistent candidate experience

  • Create and manage scheduling templates using our ATS (Ashby)

  • Manage interviewer pools, load balancing, and proactive capacity planning

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, preferably at a growth-stage startup

  • Experience managing high-volume interview scheduling across multiple time zones

  • Experience with Ashby ATS preferred

  • Positive attitude and curiosity to grow and learn

  • Empathy and genuine care for people to ensure a great candidate experience

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Process-driven mindset with a focus on consistency and quality

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities

  • Incredibly organized, able to switch between several tasks seamlessly

  • Uses AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to draft communications, summarize information, and streamline repetitive scheduling tasks

  • Demonstrates a beginner’s mindset by trying new AI tools and eagerly sharing improvements with the team

The compensation range for the role is as follows: This is a 12-week contract position at $30-35/hour (40 hours/week). As a contract role, standard BetterUp employee benefits do not apply.
