About depthfirst

We believe that software is the foundation of modern civilization. Yet vulnerabilities threaten its integrity, security, and resilience. We are on a mission to secure the world's software.

depthfirst is building intelligence to detect and remediate critical software vulnerabilities. We are training and scaling security AI agents to discover zero-day vulnerabilities across large customer codebases and popular open source software.

Our founding team brings deep expertise in data, infrastructure, security and AI, with leaders from DeepMind, Databricks, Square, and Faire. We're looking for thoughtful, driven people excited to work at the intersection of AI, Security, and Infrastructure.

About This Role

We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help us deliver an exceptional candidate experience and build the operational foundation that allows our team to hire quickly without compromising on quality.

You'll work closely with our recruiting team, hiring managers, and leaders across the company to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and keep our hiring processes moving. As one of the first members of our growing recruiting team, you'll also have the opportunity to improve how we operate, take on increasing ownership, and get exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is exceptionally organized, proactive, and excited to build a career in recruiting while helping scale a fast-growing startup.

You're excited about this role because you will…
  • Own interview scheduling and coordination across multiple teams and searches, including complex onsite and virtual interview loops

  • Create an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience from initial interview through offer, ensuring candidates always know what to expect and feel well taken care of

  • Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to keep hiring processes moving quickly and efficiently

  • Manage onsite interview logistics and help create a thoughtful, welcoming experience for candidates visiting our San Francisco office

  • Keep our ATS and recruiting systems accurate and up to date, ensuring interviews, feedback, and next steps don't fall through the cracks

  • Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, process bottlenecks, and candidate experience issues and help solve them before they become problems

  • Help build and improve recruiting processes, workflows, templates, and systems as our hiring volume grows

  • Support recruiting initiatives across referrals, sourcing, recruiting events, offer coordination, and other projects as needed

  • Learn the full recruiting lifecycle and take on increasing ownership as the company and recruiting team scale

Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or another fast-paced, highly organized role

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage many moving pieces simultaneously

  • A genuine desire to create a great experience for candidates

  • Highly proactive and resourceful, you anticipate what needs to happen next rather than waiting to be asked

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality

  • Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing frequently changing schedules and priorities

  • High ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity...you thrive in fast-moving environments where processes are still being built

  • Excited to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow within recruiting

  • Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco (this role is in-office)

Bonus Points For
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or early-stage company

  • Experience with an ATS such as Ashby and recruiting tools

  • Experience coordinating high-volume or complex technical interview processes

  • Interest in growing into recruiting, sourcing, or recruiting operations over time

  • Familiarity with security, infrastructure, or developer tooling markets

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary with meaningful equity

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance

  • Office lunch and dinner (SF office)

  • Ownership and significant room to grow as the company scales

  • The opportunity to join a rapidly scaling AI startup during its most formative phase
