Reports To: Redemption Experience & Dream Team Department Head

Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt (In-Person)

Schedule: 25 hours per week 

  • Sundays: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM (30-minute lunch) 
  • Tuesdays: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch) 
  • Wednesdays: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch) 
  • Thursdays: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM 30-minute lunch) 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Redemption Experience & Dream Team Administrator provides administrative support to the Redemption Experience & Dream Team Department by helping keep volunteers, communication, and ministry systems organized and running smoothly. Working closely with the Department Head, this role assists with volunteer administration, scheduling, database management, communications, and Sunday preparation so leaders can focus on creating an exceptional experience for every guest and volunteer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the department.

  • Manage calendars, meeting notes, ministry documents, and departmental files.

  • Order supplies, process invoices, and assist with basic budget tracking.

Volunteer Administration

  • Maintain volunteer records and Planning Center.

  • Assist with volunteer onboarding, background checks, and scheduling.

  • Support communication with Dream Team members and ministry leaders.

Communication

  • Prepare and distribute emails, schedules, and ministry updates.

  • Respond to routine volunteer questions and administrative requests.

Sunday & Ministry Support

  • Prepare materials and volunteer resources for weekend services.

  • Provide administrative support during Sunday services as needed.

  • Assist with special events and ministry projects throughout the year.

Systems & Organization

  • Maintain accurate databases and ministry records.

  • Generate basic reports and help keep department information organized and up to date.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist with weekend or event setup as needed.

  • Well-prepared weekends and ministry events.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required

  • 1+ years of administrative or office experience

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

  • Active participant in the life and culture of Redemption Church

Preferred

Experience with Planning Center or similar database systems
  • Church or nonprofit administrative experience

  • Volunteer coordination experience
